State of the art BICO Spunbond Technology
Due to the advanced BICO Technology, we are able to combine different polymers during the fiber formation.
The core and coating of the filament fiber can be made of different raw materials managed by the coordinated operation of the two extruders – and the customers’ needs can be fulfilled in a high quality by dosing specific additives to these materials.
2 Spinning Beams, 2400 mm production width
Increased production performance but consistent product quality. The extruded filament fibers are poured onto a conveyor belt by 2 spinning beams with the help of vacuum, where the material reaches its 2.4 meter production width after passing through the calendar rollers.
Inline film extrusion and lamination
For multilayer materials the additional film extrusion takes place inline during the manufacturing process. The hot and flexible film layer is extruded directly on the nonwoven layer and sealed by the calendar rollers. The hot layers are bonded to each other at a material level, granting a very stable cohesion.
Biaxial stretching up to 5200 mm width
During biaxial stretching, the equipment stretches the material simultaneously in the machine (MD) and cross-machine (CMD) directions until a production width of 5,200 millimeters is reached. The special properties of the multilayer nonwoven products can be significantly enhanced by this process.
Batch additives, inline kiss-roll finishing
By mixing additives at the raw material level, a wide range of product properties can be kept under control, while maintaining the homogeneous quality. With the kiss-roll unit, the vapor permeability of the film layer can be adjusted.
Linopore technology
The unique LINOPORE know-how (protected by an international trade mark) is a result of the combined use of special technical solutions. Due to their outstanding mechanical properties, multilayer nonwoven products made by LINOPORE process can be used among others in the additional conversion of healthcare and construction product solutions.
Professional production control and administration system
The production line is equipped with an online quality control system operating continuously at several points of the installation, which notifies the control room of even the slightest anomaly. Production batches are accurately documented and traceable.
